Lunch for Tots: Homemade Bread with Raspberry Chia Seed Jam

We were given a bread maker at Christmas so there's been lots of yummy homemade bread and pizza bases been made lately. This week I also made two types of chia seed jam - blueberry jam and raspberry jam. It's perfect for on sandwiches, but I also use it to sweeten the Greek yoghurt.

To make the chia seed jam, simply add two cups of frozen berries to the food processor and blitz until smooth. Then add quarter of a cup of chia seeds and a teaspoon of vanilla extract. You can also add a tablespoon of honey or maple syrup for extra sweetness if you want, but I left this out.

My little tot's lunch box for today:

Greek yoghurt with blueberry chia seed jam (just blueberries and chia seeds, no sugar)
Fresh blueberries and raspberries
Grated cheese
Raspberry chia seed jam on homemade bread
Fresh beans from Opa's (poppa in Dutch) garden and pumpkin & kumara hummus for dipping.
